Patient Resources

Thank you for choosing All About Kids Pediatrics as your child’s primary care provider. We are excited about getting to know your child and you. This page is intended to help familiarize new patients with our practice.

  • COVID-19 Policies

    ● Masks are required for anyone 2 years of age or older

    ● To minimize waiting and contact time, we strongly encourage parents to fully complete the online check-in on our patient portal.

Thank you for your cooperation as we work together to keep our community as healthy as possible in the face of this pandemic. For up-to-date information on COVID-19 please visit the CDC's COVID Tracker.

  • Vaccine Policy Statement

All About Kids Pediatrics believes that immunizing our children and young adults is the single most important health-promoting intervention we perform as healthcare providers.

    ● There is overwhelming evidence that vaccines are safe, effective, and not associated with autism or any other neurodevelopmental conditions.

    ● We endorse the recommended vaccine schedule as established by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). There is no accepted alternative schedule.

    ● We are unable to accept/accomodate children whose parents refuse to vaccinate unless there is a true medical contraindication; it is our duty to keep our vulnerable at risk children safe from exposure to devastating vaccine-preventable diseases.

    ● We are happy to address and answer all your questions and concerns regarding vaccinating your children and pledge to always provide the most up to date CDC Vaccine Information Sheet (VIS) and discuss possible side effects at each visit for vaccination.

Appointment Policy

It is our intention to provide your children the best care possible at all times and to accommodate as many requests as is realistic and feasible. It is within this context that we ask you to take a few moments to review policies that affect the way services are provided.

In the Office

  • Arrive early. Please remember that all insurance requires that your insurance data be updated prior to each encounter. This usually takes a few minutes. If this is not done your insurance may deny your claim. We do not want time spent on administrative requirements to limit your time with the doctor.
  • Schedule an appointment by calling (301) 200-7444.
  • Same-day appointments are available for acute illnesses.
  • Patients who arrive on time are seen at their appointment time. If you arrive late, we may need to abbreviate or reschedule your child’s visit.
  • Call ahead if you are late or unable to make your appointment time. We will do all that we can to accommodate your child’s appointment and to minimize the need to reschedule your appointment.
  • Late arrivals (>15 minutes after scheduled appointment) will be offered the next available appointment. While we will do all that is possible to accommodate requests, the first-available appointment may or may not be on the day the appointment was missed.
  • A $25 fee will be applied for no show appointments and appointments cancelled without 24 hours notice.

After hours Call Service

  • For life-threatening emergencies please call 911.
  • Please limit after hour calls to urgent issues.
  • For appointments and other non-urgent matters, you may leave a message or call the office during regular hours. Please also do the following when using this service:
  • When leaving a message, please speak slowly. Be sure to leave a call back number.

We are here to provide the best care we can to your children should the need arise. As always, we welcome the opportunity to care for your children and appreciate your trust in the services we provide.
